KHR: Fran x Reader - Night

You sighed softly as you looked out on to the Varia's garden from a balcony. 'Why is there even a garden? No one here really gardens. . .Maybe Lussuria? Probably. . .' You thought as your mind continued to wander aimlessly.

Light footsteps were heard until a figure stood next to you. Neither of you spoke. The air was cold and calm. The moon's light making it look like a patch of forget-me-nots were glowing. Suddenly your companion spoke up.

"Your insane [Name]-senpai. It's 3 AM, and cold. Insomniac." Fran said casually. The moon lighting his emotionless face.

"Your up too, you should have gotten a jacket, and yes I am." You said, mesmerised by the beauty of the flowers below.

"That's not nice [Name]-senpai. Especially to the person you love." Fran muttered into your ear, his arms wrapped securely around you body. You scoffed, snuggling into his chest, he was warm.

"Hey Fran? Would you?" You asked knowing what he would do.

"Of course, senpai" And with that being said, he pushed you off the balcony. You closed your eyes and laughed loudly.

You hit water. It was warm. Fran's illusions were always so warm and comforting. Unless they were meant for enemies, or Belphegor. Opening your shining [e/c] orbs you met beautiful turquoise ones. The two of you resurfaced and you smiled at Fran. Swimming away from him.

"Catch me if you can, Froggie~!" You teased. You heard Fran swimming up behind you.

Turning your head, you saw something you hadn't seen in this illusion before. Fran riding a dolphin. He had the same black tank top and dark green shorts(not a frog hat in sight!). But he was riding a dolphin. You gasped softly as you stopped swimming. Fran grabbed your hand and you were pulled from the water and placed on the dolphin's back behind him. You wrapped your arms around his middle and rested your head against his back.

"Thank you Fran. We can go back now. . ." You said softly, stifling a yawn.

"Finally." Fran said monotonously. The sky that was once blue, was now dark and being illuminated by the moon. You were still being held by Fran. "Bedtime now senpai." Fran whispered into your ear, sending pleasant shivers down your back.You could only nod as the illusionist carried you bridal style to his room to sleep for the night.

Thoughts of the beautiful illusion Fran had created for you and him spun in your head that night.
