Hong Kong x Reader - Simple 'I Love You's

Hong Kong sighed softly.

You had fallen asleep again.

He didn't really mind. The peace-filled look on your face was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. So sweet and innocent. Somewhat like an angel. Though Hong Kong would never compare you to that of an angel. You were far too out of any angel's league. And he loved you.

He had told you many times, in fact. Some being gentle and soft, before you fell asleep in his arms like now. Others being after he kissed you while watching the fireworks with you. Either way, Hong Kong was sure you knew of his feelings, and that everyone else knew you were his.

It may have sounded selfish, but Hong Kong could care less. All he cared about was you. If you were sad, he would do everything in his power to make you happy again. If you were sick, he would nurse you back to health. If you were cold, he would hold you in his embrace until you were warm again.

Hong Kong smiled at a familiar memory from not too long before. You had watched scary movies that night and called him because you thought you heard a noise. Of course, he wasted no time in driving to your house and putting your mind at ease by checking the entire house and staying with you.

A shifting in his arms made the Asian teen's train of thought break, turning his attention to you. He smiled softly at the sight of you sitting up and rubbing the sleep from your bright [e/c] orbs. Your eyes met with his briefly, causing you to blush and turn your head in shyness. Hong Kong pulled you into his lap and brushed his lips gently against your own. Pulling away he saw the flustered look on your face, how cute.

"K-Kaoru[1]. . ." You stuttered, still a little shocked by the sudden display of affection. "What was that-?" You were cut off by Hong Kong pressing his lips to your's in a passionate kiss. It made butterflies flutter happily in your stomach.

"I love you, [Name]." He said when he finally pulled away. You smiled softly at him and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

"I love you, too Kaoru. Always have, always will!" You said, smiling up at him.

These simple 'I love you's meant the world and so much more to him.

You meant so much more to him.
