Denmark x Reader - New Semester

Moving swiftly through the crowd, you made sure you were going in the right direction. Your Danish friend followed after you, speaking to you in his usual, laid back, child-like way.

"Is that a no as in 'no way in hell, you asshole' or a no as in 'no, I'm not completely sure'?" He questioned, hands making wild gestures as he spoke and walked beside you.

"Eh, little bit of both." You said, not giving the conversation much thought. It was just a little, random conversation Magnus[1] had started.

"So you'll be my chemistry partner!?" He beamed, a large grin forming on his lips and his bright blue eyes shining.

"Sure, why not? Besides, I think it'll be a nice way to kick off the year by making stuff explode." You replied, a carefree smirk creeping onto your features as you reached steps that would take you all the way to the third floor.

"I know you'd say yes! Who's the teacher for the class anyway? Do you know?" Magnus inquired, climbing up the stairs behind you, two steps at a time.

"Alfred[2] said he got Mr. Stevens, but Gilbert[3] says there's also Mr. Mac-something-Michael-or-other. I'd say we have Mr. Stevens." You stated the information as best as you could as you passed through the door to the third floor's main hallway.

"Just because it's the one you remembered correctly, huh?" Raising a brow, Magnus let out a chuckle as he quickly passed you on his way to the roof door.

"Full of questions today, aren't we, Mr. Køhler?" Smiling teasingly, you mimicked an up tight teacher.

"What can I say? I yearn for knowledge!" Spinning around to face you as he spoke, Magnus held open the door to roof. The wind blew in and you quickly walked outside.

Lunch had just started 5 minutes ago. The two of you snuck away from your other friends and up to the roof for some fresh air. This part of the roof was small, being surrounded by the building on three sides and only one place to look at. The school courtyard.

It wasn't fenced at all, not one bit. This made it easy for you and your Danish prankster friend to throw paper airplanes at a certain Norwegian. This prompted said Norwegian to throw a textbook at Magnus.

"Oh hey, [Name]! You have drama class this semester with Mrs. Bugg, right? I do to!" Magnus said, grinning widely as he opened up a container of strawberries. "That makes. . . 3 classes! Plus lunch, too~" With a child-like grin, Magnus began to happily eat his fruit.

"Really? Heh, guess this means I'll be stuck with you for another semester. And here I was, hoping to get more time with my favourite Magic Club member!" You fake whined, throwing your arms up in the air for dramatic effect.

"Would that be me?" A cool voice came, making the two of you jump.

"OH HOLY FUCK, LUKAS!" Magnus shouted, staring down at Lukas[4] who had thrown ice at him.

"Hello."

"Oh, 'sup Lulu?" You called down, waving casually to your friend and even blowing kisses to him. Lukas reacted by winking at you, much to Magnus' dismay.

"LUKAS! THAT IS ON THE LIST OF THINGS THAT IS NOT OKAY!" Magnus yelled out, wrapping his arms around you from behind in a protective manner. "[NAME] IS MINE!" After he spoke, Magnus stuck his tongue out at his childhood friend. His words made a light blush colour your cheeks. Magnus' remark got him 4 ice cubes to the face. "Ow!"

"Throwing ice cubes at your lovestruck face isn't on the list, idiot. Now shut up and kiss her." The emotionless male said, boredly staring up at you two.

"I was getting to that!"

"Sure you were, Dane."

Breaking out in laughter, you turned around in Magnus' arms and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. Grinning, you spoke in a warm, teasing voice.


"Maybe this semester won't be too bad~!"
